Meet Dr. Marissa Evans (Baytown, TX)

Dr. Marissa Evans grew up in Pasadena, Texas. She attended the University of Houston Honors College and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in medicine and society. Dr. Evans graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston’s College of Optometry.

Dr. Evans is a member of the International Optometric Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa. She is a therapeutic optometrist and with a focus on anterior segment pathology and foreign body removal. Dr. Evans is trained to co-manage cataract, LASIK, and corneal cross-linking surgeries, and provides glasses and contact lenses to those who need them.

Dr. Evans spends time with her family and dog, and enjoys game nights with her friends. In her spare time, she loves to crochet, leatherworking, archery, and painting.
